CONTENTS:

  • Reaching the 100th issue of the Newsletter of Phenomenology, we can provide a few statistical facts. The Newsletter was started on the 2nd of May 2002. By now, we have almost 1500 subscribers all around the world. We annouced more than 400 new books and translations on phenomenology, more than 150 new issues of phenomenological Journals, more than 80 calls for papers for phenomenology conferences, more than 60 phenomenological colloquium and congress programs, more than 180 general announcements concerning our philosophical discipline. Please do not hesitate to invite your colleagues interested in phenomenology to subscribe to our free newsletter. ANNOUNCEMENT:

  • Person, Culture, and the Social. The Second Korean-American Phenomenology Conference Organized by the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology, Inc. and the Korean Society for Phenomenology, October 26-28, Memphis Marriott Downtown Hotel, Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
  • The Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina Philosophy Department organized from August to November 2004 a postgraduate course entitled “Phenomenology. Origins, Developments and Current Situation”. It is the first time the University offers a phenomenological course of these characteristics. It consisted of seventeen sessions, of eight hours each one, dedicated to the phenomenological approach to different philosophical themes, in charge of Argentinean Phenomenologists and lecturers invited from Europe and Latin America.
